I unscramble eggs
There is no such thing as difficulty, only the occurrences of a life. Like any life, mine is filled with strangeness and beauty, ugliness and evil.
Google me and you will find my public personality:
- I use Twitter and Facebook and almost never say idiotic things
- I ask questions on mailing lists, newsgroups and forums about
- Brewing
- Solaris
- JavaScript
- FreeBSD
- Ruby
- My grandfather’s (and role model) trail riding business and his recent obituary
- I keep a personal blog (this one) where I write about
The professional things
My Resume (pdf)
The unix environment is my overstuffed armchair from which I watch the forest and direct the pollinators and predators and decomposers. It is comfortable and familiar, but I do not shirk challenges as I am well-equipped to take on the bustling city. I write about what I do on my professional blog. I keep my resumé up to date on LinkedIn where you can see that I:
- Know a lot about Solaris, Linux and FreeBSD
- Design and architect enterprise applications
- Lead technical teams
- Can write software for mobile phones
- Make use of good coding practices
- Program in ruby, java, JavaScript, objective c, and Perl
- Am a long-lived and loyal employee
- Receive recognition from upper management for things I do
